OIL-RUBBED BRONZE

Oil-rubbed bronze is a paint finish typically used on objects such as doorknobs,

light fixtures and home decor items. For this custom project the transom window and entry doors

were hand-painted to achieve an oil-rubbed bronze appearance. The overall effect was achieved using

a warm black glaze carefully applied by hand in layers over the warm metallic base color.

The glaze was then artistically lifted to achieve an authentic look.
